Hi All!
Today I’m going to share with you some exciting information about the Northern YA Literary Festival being held in Preston next month. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about a big literary event being held in the North, and close to where I grew up.
The event is being held on 24th March at 52 Degrees in Preston and is hosted by the University of Central Lancashire BA in Publishing, working closely with Preston Waterstone’s and Lancashire Libraries. They have put together a brilliant programme of events, including:
11-12pm – Getting into Publishing with Danny Weston, Teri Terry and debut author Anna Day.
1.30-3pm – Girl Power, Feminism in YA with Katherine Webber, Annabel Pitcher, Lauren James and Matt Killeen.
3.30pm – Alwyn Hamilton on the conclusion to Rebel of the Sands.
4-6.30pm – Holly Black in conversation with Samantha Shannon
There will be signings by many of the authors too!
There will also be a number of stalls selling literary themed products, including my personal favourites Taken Moons selling bookish inspired candles!
I cannot wait! Want to attend?
You’ll need a copy of Holly Black’s The Cruel Prince and FREE event tickets, which you can get here
Hope to see you there!
I’m coming!
