This week my coffee and I are looking at some November releases I am excited for.
The Coffee:
This week I’m drinking the last of the Square Mile Kilimanjaro coffees: the Natural. This is always my favourite of the bunch, really fruity and unusual.
The Books:
This Cruel Design by Emily Suvada. This is the sequel to This Mortal Coil which I read and loved last year. I cannot wait to get back into this world and see what challenges Catarina is facing next.
Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan. I have been wanting this book since I first set eyes on it at YALC. I love the cover, and the story sounds amazing. I hope this is going to become one of my new favourite fantasy reads.
Explorers on Witch Mountain by Alex Bell. I absolutely adored The Polar Bear Explorer’s Club which I read earlier this year, and I have been dying to get my hands on this second book in the series. I am so excited for this one.
Fire and Blood by George R.R. Martin. I absolutely love the Game of Thrones books, and although (like everyone else) I’m really waiting for The Winds of Winter, I will take whatever there is in the meantime. This one is a history of the Targaryen family and I am all here for it.
The Crimes of Grindelwald by J.K. Rowling. The next in the Fantastic Beasts series. This one is a script of the film rather than an actual story but I require all things from the Harry Potter universe, thanks very much.
Those are my November picks. What are you excited for next month?
I am so excited for Girls too! The author described it as soft girls + food and I was like yep that’s a Hufflepuff book I need xD
I really do need to read This Mortal Coil, I’ve heard so many excellent things about it.
