Seven Deadly Sins Tag

Today, I’m doing the Seven Deadly Sins Tag, which Amy at Golden Books Girl tagged me for in July.  This is a great tag and I had a lot of fun thinking of my answers, so thanks Amy!

Coffee and.... (5)

Greed – what is the most expensive book you own? What is the least expensive book you own?

The signed limited edition of Book of Dust is my most expensive. I adore it and regret nothing. I don’t know what the least expensive book I own is.

Gluttony – what book or books have you shamelessly devoured many times?

There are many books that I have shamelessly devoured over and over again: Harry Potter, Northern Lights, the Thursday Next books, The Trick is to Keep Breathing and Jane Eyre.

Sloth – what book or book series have you neglected out of sheer laziness?

I don’t know that laziness is the reason for neglecting my books so much as too many books and not enough time (gluttony again?), but the one that springs to mind is one Hannah chose for me to read this month: The Extinction Trials.

Pride – what book or books do you bring up when you want to sound like an intellectual reader?

I don’t really care what kind of reader other people think I sound like. I like books and I will talk about the ones I liked at every opportunity, regardless of whether they make me sound intellectual or not.

Lust – what attributes do you find most attractive in characters?

Loyalty, humour and honesty.

Envy – what book/s would you most like to receive as a gift?

All of the books. Any of the books. Books.

Wrath – what author do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Haruki Murakami. I either love his books and devour them whole, or am utterly confiused and can’t stand them. There is no in between.

I’m not going to tag anyone in this because I’m pretty sure everyone has done this, but if you haven’t and you want to do it, consider yourself tagged!
