Today I am sitting down with my coffee to take a look at the books that the lovely Rosie of Rosie Freckle Reads has chosen for me this month.
The Coffee:
I’m kicking off 2019 with a coffee I picked up during my December trip to Manchester: the Akmel Nuri, an Ethiopian coffee from Coffee Collective. It took me a few attempts to brew it decently, but it was worth the effort.
The Books:
I did wonder whether to choose my own TBR this month with it being my birthday and all, but then the utterly lush Rosie offered to pick me a TBR, so I gladly handed the reins to her.
She’s chosen me some happy sounding books and all are books she has read and loved herself:
1. Heartstopper by Alice Oseman.
2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.
3. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell (must be read after Fangirl)
4. Us by David Nicholls.
5. Unconventional by Maggie Harcourt.
I’m really looking forward to reading all of these, and hopefully sneaking in a few of my own choices too.

Not at all! I do have a lot of books that I feel guilty for not reading sooner, and this is one of them.

Ooh, this is an interesting list. I loved Unconventional, it’s so sweet. I need to read my copy of Heartstopper. I liked Fangirl but I (controversially) really couldn’t stand Carry On so I’ll be interested to see what you think!

Ooooh. That’s interesting. I haven’t heard anyone say they didn’t like Carry On. I shall definitely keep you posted. Especially as we seem to have very similar tastes.
