It’s ThursTag: that time of the week where I find a tag my pal Steph did and steal it for my own. This time, The Oseman Tag, created by Layla at Readable Life (credit to the images in this post to Layla too).

Jimmy Kaga-Ricci: A character that overcame something huge.

Suzanne from Beautiful Broken Things and Fierce Fragile Hearts by Sara Barnard, who will always be my go to character for this question. Also, Mehreen from All The Things We Never Said by Yasmin Rahman who overcomes a suicide pact. That’s a pretty big thing.
Rowan Omondi: Favourite protective character.

Murren Ross from Hold Back the Tide by Melinda Salisbury. Alva doesn’t need to be protected, but Murren does a good job of trying to support and protect her all the same.
Lister Bird: Character that oozes charm

I don’t know if this is meant to be bad oozing charm or good oozing charm so I’m going to go for the bad kind and say Corilanus Snow in A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins.
Angel Rahimi: Book you’re most passionate about.

All. Of. The. Melinda. Salisbury. Thank. You. For. Coming. To. My. TED. Talk. Also, all of Bex Hogan, Alice Broadway, Kiran Millwood Hargrave, Juno Dawson, Laura Steven, and Sara Barnard.
Charlie Spring: Favourite bookish OTP

Charlie and Nick and Tara and Darcey from Heartstopper. I don’t know if that’s allowed in an Oseman Tag, but I’m doing it anyway.
Nick Nelson: Favourite book that brings you joy

At the risk of copying Steph, the Sam Wu books by Katie and Kevin Tsang. They are such brilliant books, and I love how much my little S loves them and how excited he gets about reading them. It’s lovely to share something we both love.
Nellie: Favourite book to snuggle up with

All the books. I love to snuggle up and read any book, especially books that have magic in them. I don’t have a specific one to answer this.
Aled Last: A book that helped you through a rough time.

Popping up for a second time in this tag: Fierce Fragile Hearts by Sara Barnard. I’ll give some bonus books since I’ve used this one already, Scar by Alice Broadway, and Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman.
Frances Janvier: A character with tons of determination.

Olivia from Read with Pride by Lucy Powrie. She is so determined to do the right thing, to stand up for what she believes in and to give her best to everything she does. I adore her.
