Books with the Boy: The Top Ten Books I Read in 2020

Hello every body and today I am sharing my top 10 books that I read last year.

1. Sam Wu is NOT Afraid of Space by Katie and Kevin Tsang. The reason why I chose that one is because I’m just doing huge fan of the whole Sam Wu series and this was the last one in the series and I really enjoyed reading it. My review is here.

2. Dragon Mountain by Katie and Kevin Tsang. This is by the same authors as the last Sam Wu books and the reason why I chose it is because I’m really into mysterious worlds, action, adventure and all that stuff. I am reading the next book in the series from Netgalley now and I love it. My review is here.

3. Dogman: Grime and Punishment by Dav Pilkey. The reason why I chose this one is because this series and the other one the author write are some of my favourite comic books and I really enjoy the stories and the characters.

4. Ghost by Jason Reynolds. The reason why I chose this is because its all about running and racing and the boy likes basketball and I like all these sports. And Ghost ends up on the track team and then there was this race and it is left at a cliff-hanger which I really liked.

5. Wizard of Once by Cressida Cowell. The reason why I chose that is because I really like Cressida Cowell’s books and it reminds me of one of my favourites film series. It is all about magic and the main characters who don’t know that their magic until near the end of the book.

6. Captain Whiskers by Jeremy Strong. And the reason why I chose this one is because it is really funny and I really enjoyed reading it. it’s all about pets. I wish I had the exact same pets just I can’t because someone in my family is allergic. My review is here.

7. Clever Cakes by Michael Rosen. I really liked the the main character from the first story when she baked some cakes and the bear was going to deliver and to our grandma but she hidden them and pretended to talk to them to scare them away. My review is here.

8. The Queen of King Street by Tom McLaughlin. The reason why I likes this one is that it is a really funny story about the Royal family having to live in a different house and try lots of new things because Bertie ruins everything.

9. Boot by Shane Hegarty. This one is all about a robot who gets lost from its owner and it only has little memories left and then they’re trying to find their way back and on the way you make some new friends. Me and my dad really liked reading this one together.

10. Five Ways to Make a Friend by Gillian Cross. This is my final one and it’s a story about someone who makes a list with five ways to make friend and then the main characters uses it and makes some friends and it is a really nice story. My review is here.

And those are my favourite ten books I read in 2020. Did you read any of these and what was your favourite book?
