Six for Sunday: Books I’m Excited For In 2021

I have absolutely no idea how it is Sunday again already, but here we go! It’s time for #SixforSunday, hosted by the brilliant Steph. Continuing this months All About Booooooks theme, today’s post is Books You’re Excited For in 2021. I recently shared the books I’m excited for in January, February and March, so today I’m going to share some coming out later this year that I’m excited for:

1. Witches Steeped in Gold by Ciannon Smart. A Jamaican inspired fantasy about witches. Of course I am looking forward to this. Also, Ciannon recently shared the cover for the UK edition and *insert hear eyes here*.

2. The Edge of the Ocean (Strangeworld’s book 2) by L.D. Lapinksi. I am a huge fan of L.D. in all situations, and I cannot wait to get my hands on their next book in this world. I adore Jonathan and Flick and I am looking forward to diving into new worlds with them.

3. Vulture by Bex Hogan. I am still not over the ending to Venom. I can’t even think about it without having feelings. I need to know what is in store for Bronn and Marianne, but I am also very, aggressively, not ready for whatever that is.

4. Rainbow Grey by Laura Ellen Anderson. I love her Amelia Fang series. They are adorable stories with stunning illustrations. I am looking forward to falling in love with a new series from her – this one featuring weather magic!

5. Monstrous Design by Kat Dunn. I’ve mentioned a few times recently how much I loved Dangerous Remedy when I read it late last year, and after the killer twists at the end of that book, I am desperate to find out what happens next.

6. This Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron. I absolutely loved Cinderella is Dead and after that, I would buy anything Kalynn writes. Her second books sounds amazing. Feminist, secrets and plant magic. Also, the cover is a beauty. Sign me up immediately.

What books are on your radar this year? Is there one particular book you’re most excited for?

  1. I’m awful for remembering what I’m looking forward to until someone mentions it then I get excited all over again! Too hare-brained!!
Definitely a few of these though – Dangerous Remedy and Strangeworlds 2 in particular
I still need to read Viper 🙈
