Six for Sunday: Books with snakes on the cover / in the title

Happy April and happy Sunday! I hope you all are enjoying your Easter, however you’re spending the day. This month’s #sixforsunday theme from the brilliant Steph is The Viper Inspired Ones and we’re kicking off with books with snakes on the cover or in the title. I’ve gone with snakes on the cover. Here are my six picks for this week’s prompt:

1. The Deathless Girls by Kiran Millwood Hargrave – Another stunning book (inside and out). It’s a retelling of the brides of Dracula story and I absolutely adored it.

2. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins – I feel like I might be the only one, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Hunger Games prequel. I thought it was really clever.

3. Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo – Leigh’s first (I think?) adult novel. It was super dark and twisty and not at all what I expected but I enjoyed it.

4, 5, and 6 – Viper, Venom, and Vulture by Bex Hogan. How could any list of books during the month of Viperthon feature anything else? This whole trilogy is amazing, and helpfully for this week’s prompt, has snakes on the cover!

What books do you have with snakes on the cover?
